About the ECHO Awards

East Bay CREW is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women's network of 74 chapters, totaling 8,000 members in the United States and Canada. East Bay CREW's mission is to promote the success of and opportunities for women in the Commercial Real Estate industry. The second annual 2012 ECHO Awards will honor and celebrate the contributions of women to the Commercial Real Estate industry at-large in our East Bay community.

The following awards will be given:

1) Best Deal – This award acknowledges individuals or teams who, during the past year, have worked together on a common deal, project, initiative or goal that embodies the core values of CREW which are Leadership, Excellence, Influence, Community, Integrity and Advancement.
2) Exemplary Woman in Commercial Real Estate – This recipient is an exemplary role model to others in the industry and in the business community who has made outstanding contributions over a significant period of time in the field of commercial real estate.
3) Emerging Leader in Commercial Real Estate – This recipient is emerging as a leader in the field of commercial real estate – she may be either new to the industry or returning to her profession and has demonstrated tenacity, professionalism and ambition to advance the success of the industry through her work.

4) Most Valuable East Bay CREW Member Award
The Most Valuable Member (MVM) Award is awarded to one East Bay CREW member in good standing who has accumulated the highest number of points based on a predetermined points system. Additional awards may be given as determined by the MVM committee/coordinator.
